New Farm In Oregon

In Dec 2005 we moved the cows to our new farm in Jefferson, OR. We bought a old Rye Grass seed farm that is 55 acres. This place had no fences and no infrastructure at all for cattle. The place has been quite a challenge. For instance, the first year we installed over 1 1/2 miles of fence. We have been also putting up hay for ourselves and for sale as well. In 2008 we put up just short of 4000 bales of hay that was a mix of Timothy, Orchard Grass, Forage Rye Grass and White Clover. We continue to build and grow our operation.
